1. Maintain the License: Attend Continuing Education as required to maintain the license through continuing education and stay updated with advancements in the field.

2. Code Compliance: Plumbing PEs must ensure that all designs and systems meet the relevant building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations. They stay updated with the latest technologies and guidelines to ensure energy efficiency and code compliance. 

3. Quality Control: Plumbing PEs are responsible for ensuring the quality of the Plumbing systems they design. They may implement quality control processes and perform inspections during design and construction to ensure compliance with the design specifications.

4. Design and Analysis: Plumbing PEs are responsible for overseeing and redlining the work performed by Plumbing design engineers and analyzing Plumbing systems, components, and equipment. This may include material selection and performing hydraulic calculations to size pipes, pumps, and other plumbing components to ensure efficient water distribution and waste removal..

5. Project Management: Plumbing PEs often take a lead role in managing engineering projects. They coordinate with other engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure that Plumbing systems are integrated properly into larger projects.

6. Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports to accurately convey plumbing design intent and requirements.

Requirements:

· Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mechanical HVAC or Plumbing Engineering.

· Proven experience in plumbing system design and engineering.

· Proficiency in plumbing design in AutoCAD and Revit.

· Strong knowledge of local and national plumbing codes and regulations.

· Ability to perform hydraulic calculations and use relevant engineering analysis tools.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, clients, and contractors.

· Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and quality in design and documentation.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
